  • What is a certification of Guam law?

    A certification of law is a document issued by the Compiler of Laws, in her capacity as the official publisher of Guam law. This document certifies that statutes in the Guam Code Annotated, published on the Internet through the Compiler of Laws website, constitute official publications of the codified laws of Guam. A Compiler’s certification is different from an apostille certificate.

  • How do I request a certification of Guam law?

    Complete the Request for Certification of Guam Law form, which requires the following information:

  • How much is the certification, and how do I pay?

    The cost for the certification and copy of the statute is USD $20.00. The office will prepare

  • How will I receive the certification?

    After payment is processed, the documents and receipt may be picked up in-person from the Compiler’s Office, sent by email, or mailed using U.S. Postal Service upon payment of postage.

The Compiler of Laws is responsible for officially publishing the Session Laws of the Guam Legislature, the Guam Code Annotated and updates thereto, the Guam Administrative Rules and Regulations, Supreme Court of Guam Opinions, Executive Orders and Attorney General Opinions. See Title 1GCA § 1602.
